Agia Triada (Trinity) Beach

Agia Triada beach is one of the most recently certified Blue Flag beaches. A small fishing shelter next to a sandy cove surrounding by canes, eucalyptus and acacia trees make this a very picturesque location.
The beach is wide and spacious with fine golden sand and shallow waters, ideal for families with children. A longitudinal reef just outside the cove offers great snorkelling opportunities and at the same time protects the beach from rough seas.
To the right of the beach there is a small chapel dedicated to the Holy Trinity (hence Agia "Tri-ada"). The chapel is open at all times, but please ensure you are appropriately dressed; not wearing shorts or sleeveless tops when entering. A little further along the coastline to the South of the chapel, you can find "Begagifo" - Famagusta District Sailing Club.
If you are a morning person, it is worth coming to Agia Triada Beach arround 7am when you can see the return of the fishing boats bringing the catvh of the day, which usually includes red mullet, sea bass, octopus and cuttlefish. There is a snack kiosk, toilets and a lifeguard on duty everyday from April to October.
