Skoutarospilioi (Malama) Beach

Skoutarospilioi beach is a sandy beach with a beautiful green backdrop. Its shore is split up into two sections by banks of rocks. The first section is the largest and most popular one while the second one is the quietest and most private. The beach has sunbeds and umbrellas which can be hired from the municipality.
The right-hand corner of the beach is particularly suited for families with children as it is just like a large pool with very shallow water.
For those of you who like to explore, there are three cliff caves on the left of the beach. Behind the vegetation of bushes and acacias, there is a coastal dirt road leading to an other small beach with amazing scenery. Malama beach is popular for having a few sea turtles swimming inside the bay.
The beach is very popular with locals on the week-ends, it can get quite crowded in the summer. There is a bar providing fresh drinks and snacks at the beach but also toilets and shower are available. Malama beach has a lifeguard on duty every day from April to October. A watersports centre is located on the outskirts of the cove.
