Sirena Bay is a harmonious blend of the modern way of life with Cypriot tradition, set in beautiful green surroudings.
The area used to be a large orchard with tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes and other vegetables, but these have since been replaced with acacia, bougainvillea, cypress, eucalyptus and china berry trees, flowers, bushes and perennial giant canes, which all grow abundantly thanks to the rich underground waters in the area.
On the right hand side of the bay, there is a narrow strip of sandy shore with umbrellas and sunbeds for hire. The crystal clear water and rocky coastline are great for snorkelling. On the left hand side of the bay, overlooking the rocky shore, there is a beautiful trail with white pebbles running along the beach, lined with sunbeds and umbrellas.
In the beach bar area, you will step back in time. You can see artifacts such as water-wheel as well as large vessels made of clay('pytharia'), dating back to the 1800s, which were used for making and storing wine. Traditional wooden chairs and tables on a stone floor complete the picturesque setting. The local establishment offers snacks and refreshments and all essential beach services.
