The Ultimate Guide to Protaras Beachess
The scouts Beach is the last beach you will find before the occupied area of Famagusta. This small beach is non-organised yet, however you can find some basic facilities: toilets, snack van, umbrellas and sunbeds are available. In
summer, the beach is often used by the scouts's club to park their small sailing boats.
The cove on the right side is very shallow and makes a great playground for children while the crystal clear water and flat rocky terrain offers opportunities for exploring and admiring the coastline and sea life.
On the left side, the cove has coarser sand, some pebbles and lots of tiny seashells.
The Scouts Beach is located about 500metres after MMAD (firemans) Beach and 7km from the center of Protaras. It is the closest beach to the "green line" and lies at the end of Lefkados Street (Kapparis Avenue). The road becomes narrower and then turns into a dirt track ending at just few metres from the beach.
